Maple Cinnamon Cookies

Cookie Ingredients

  • 2 cups flour
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2 teaspoons cinnamon
  • 1 cup salted butter, chilled and thinly sliced
  • 1/2 cup maple syrup
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon of maple flavoring


  1. Add the flour, sugar, cinnamon, and butter together in a large mixing bowl.
  2. With an electric mixer on medium speed, combine ingredients until the dough forms pea sized balls
  3. Add 1/4 cup maple syrup, egg, maple flavoring, and mix to combine.
  4. Chill the ball of dough in the fridge for 30-60 minutes.
  5. Combine 3 tablespoons of sugar and 1 tablespoon of cinnamon into a bowl.
  6. Roll chilled dough into small balls, and then roll them in the cinnamon sugar mixture to coat them.
  7. Place 2 inches apart on a prepared cookie sheet, and use a fork to flatten slightly.
  8. Use a pastry brush to lightly brush the cookies with the remaining maple syrup.
  9. Bake a 325 degrees for about 13 – 17 minutes.
