Revelstoke is a small mountain town tucked between the Monashee and Selkirk Mountain Ranges. Beginning as a railway town, forestry, railway, and natural resource industries have sustained this town for more than 100 years. These industries, as well as the Revelstoke Dam, one of the largest power generators in BC, are a large part of Revelstoke’s economy and personality today.

Revelstoke is well known for its Ski and Snowboard crowd in the winter, and mountain biking in summer. Norwegian immigrants brought skiing and ski jumping over to Revelstoke in early 1900’s, and by 1910 ski resorts began to form all over the town. Today, Revelstoke Mountain Resort offers a variety of activities all year round!
