British Columbia

Whistler Blackcomb – Whistler

Whistler is known internationally for its massive terrain, breath-taking PEAK 2 PEAK Gondola, and its 2010 Winter Olympics legacy. Recognized as the largest year-round resort in North America, Whistler’s two mountains are a must-visit for skiers and sightseers alike. Whistler RV Park and Campground: This RV Park has plenty of amenities on site and is located less than 20 km away from both mountains. It also offers extra savings with winter discounts!

Big White Ski Resort – Kelowna

This award-winning resort is the second-largest mountain resort village in the province. Packed with plenty of winter fun, there’s a diverse range of activities for the whole family to enjoy! Check out their tubing, ice skating, dogsled and horse-drawn carriage tours.

Where to Camp:

Big White Ski Resort: The resort offers overnight RV parking for $50 per night, no hookups. If you want the full resort experience with easy access to all the village amenities, this is a great choice!

MacDonald Acres: This RV Park has reduced rates in the winter and is only 40 km away from Big White. Located just outside of downtown Kelowna, this is a great option for easy access to the city.

Revelstoke Mountain Resort

Home to the longest continuous vertical ski drop in North America, Revelstoke Mountain is known for its challenging terrain. This ski resort offers a unique experience with less crowds, stunning views, and plenty of fresh powder snow. Plus, it has multiple winter-ready campgrounds nearby, making it the perfect RV ski vacation spot.

Where to Camp:

Boulder Mountain Resort: This campground offers plenty of space and hook-ups for rigs of all sizes. Additionally, Boulder Mountain Resort provides a hose bib connected to the nearest faucet during the wintertime, so you can easily fill your RV tank without having to move around. They also have direct access to fresh snow trails for skiing, snowboarding, and snowmobiling!

The Reverie Campground: Another great winter-ready choice, this campground is located just 7 km away from downtown Revelstoke and 13 km away from the ski resort.

Smokey Bear Campground Resort: Smokey Bear offers RV sites with full hook-ups as well as washroom and laundry facilities open year-round. Perfect for all your winter needs.

Alberta

Lake Louise Ski Resort – Banff

Named Canada’s Best Ski Resort in 2025, Lake Lousie Ski Resort has plenty of events and activities to enjoy all season long. Plus, Banff is home to two other extraordinary ski resorts – Banff Sunshine Village and Mt. Norquay, so you can plan a multi-day ski/snowboarding road trip!

Marmot Basin – Jasper

Experience an RV ski retreat in the iconic Jasper National Park, the perfect Rocky Mountain vacation spot. Its diverse terrain offers something for skiers and snowboarders of all levels to enjoy, and its high elevation allows for an extended ski season – so you can hit the slopes in the spring!

Wapiti (Winter): This winter-ready campground offers electricity and campsites on a first-come, first-serve basis. It’s located just 6 km from downtown Jasper and 17 km from the ski resort, making it the perfect central stay.

Castle Mountain Resort

Explore the second largest ski resort in the province and some of North America’s longest continuous fall lines. Located in Southern Alberta and a short drive from the gorgeous Waterton Lakes National Park, Castle Mountain is the perfect choice for RVers who want to pack in some winter sightseeing.

Castle Mountain RV Camping: Castle Mountain Ski Resort offers limited short-term RV camping on site. Spots are located within walking distance to the base ski lifts.

Beauvais Lake Campground: Beauvais Lake has electric hookups and winter availability on a first come, first serve basis. Located just 42 km from the resort, this campground is ideal for RVers wanting a quiet and off-grid experience. Plus, this park features multiple cross-country skiing and snowshoeing trails!

Saskatchewan

Duck Mountain Ski Hill

Located in Duck Mountain Provincial Park, this ski hill is perfect for beginners and families. Enjoy a tube park, ramp park, and 22 groomed runs!
