Traveland RV is excited to announce the strategic acquisition of Minard’s Leisure World, which expands our dealership to two new locations in Weyburn and Watrous, Saskatchewan. Starting August 30, 2025, Traveland RV will be growing our presence by now offering nine locations across Western Canada, strengthening our position as Canada’s largest RV dealer.

About Minard’s Leisure World and Our New Locations
Minard’s beginnings are rooted in family ownership, a strong work ethic, and a passion for RVs and the camping community. In 2004, co-founders Susan and Gene Minard started Minard’s with a vision to expand the RV world in Saskatchewan. Over the past 21 years, Minard’s Leisure World grew to the province’s largest dealership. It became the first and only family-owned RV dealership to win Saskatchewan’s Business of the Year award. Minard’s Leisure World also received Canada’s Best Managed Company designation in 2015.

About Traveland RV
With a similar start and family-oriented journey, Traveland RV began in 1977 in a double-wide trailer on a gravel lot. Dale Howes, owner of Traveland RV, started in the industry as an RV salesman in Abbotsford. Dale became passionate about studying the RV market and building his dream of a multi-department RV facility into a reality. Read more about the Traveland RV story here!

Traveland RV has expanded across Western Canada with several large, full-service locations. In Langley, BC, we operate a 10-acre site that includes a full-service body shop. Our Kelowna, BC location covers 8 acres, while the Cowichan Valley site on Vancouver Island spans 6 acres. In Airdrie, AB, Traveland RV has a 12-acre location featuring a 22-bay service shop and a 16,000-square-foot showroom. The Grande Prairie, AB site is our largest, covering 22 acres with 150 units displayed across two indoor levels. We also have a 9-acre site in Edmonton, AB. In Saskatchewan, Traveland RV now operates three locations: a 15-acre site in Martensville, and two 15-acre sites in Weyburn and Watrous. Dale Howes continues his ownership journey at Traveland alongside his family.
We are excited to offer our customers in Saskatchewan and across the country more locations, greater buying power, a wider selection of products, and enhanced services and RV knowledge.
