Outdoor Adventure in Sedona

Sedona, Arizona is known for its beautiful red rock formations and picturesque scenery. However, it is also famous for its vortexes, places where the energy of the earth is believed to be strong and conducive to healing and spiritual growth. These vortexes are said to be located at specific sites around Sedona, including Bell Rock, Cathedral Rock, and Boynton Canyon. Many people visit Sedona specifically to experience the vortex energy, whether through meditation, yoga, or simply being present in the incredible natural surroundings. Sedona Soul Adventures offers guided retreats, and while the scientific validity of the vortexes is debated, there is no denying the power of Sedona’s natural beauty and the sense of peace and awe it inspires in visitors.

Red Rock State Park

The park is named after its beautiful red rock formations that were created by millions of years of geological activity. Visitors to the park can enjoy hiking along the many trails that wind through the rugged terrain, view the many different species of wildlife in the park, or simply relax and take in the breathtaking views. One of the park’s main attractions is the Oak Creek, which runs through the heart of the park and provides opportunities for fishing, swimming, and picnicking.

Devil’s Bridge Trail is one of the most popular hikes in the area, renowned for its stunning views of red rock formations and natural beauty. The hike is approximately 4.2 miles round trip and the highlight of the hike is, of course, Devil’s Bridge – a natural sandstone arch that stands 54 feet tall and spans 45 feet across. Hikers can walk across the bridge to take in the breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape.

The Chapel of The Holy Cross is a stunningly beautiful chapel, its unique design inspired by the Empire State Building. The chapel is built into the side of a red rock formation and offers breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape. The interior of the chapel is simple yet elegant, with large windows that allow natural light to flood the space.
