Between Brookings and Gold Beach along Highway 101 lies the Samuel H. Boardman Scenic Corridor.

You can stop at any of the parking areas along the highway and check out some amazing hikes, visit the 7 iconic arch rocks known as the Natural Bridges, and maybe even see some whales from Cape Ferrelo viewpoint in the fall or spring.

The 10,000 acre Jedediah Smith Redwoods State Park is home to 7% of the worlds remaining old-growth Redwoods.

Visitors can fish, snorkel, or kayak on the Smith River and there are endless hiking trails throughout the lush rainforest. They also offer campsites, and they are open year round.
