Egg Drop Game
What you need
- 4 baskets
- Plastic eggs, craft eggs, or boiled eggs.
How to play
Split into two teams and form two lineups on one side of the room or yard. Place a basket filled with eggs in front of each team, and an empty basket for each team across the room or yard.
Each team member will race, one at a time, to transfer eggs from the first basket to the empty basket. The catch is that the egg must be placed between your thighs, and there are no hands allowed!
Players must squat and drop their egg into the basket successfully before running back to tag the next member of their team, if the egg is dropped before the basket the player must start over. The first team to successfully transfer all their eggs is the winner!
Put a spin on your egg hunt this year by coiling glow stick bracelets or placing mini glow sticks inside the plastic eggs! Kids will love this glow in the dark egg hunt, and you can even include glow in the dark prizes!
Crystal Easter Egg Craft
Instead of painting eggs this year try making these beautiful crystal Easter eggs!
What you need
- Borax powder
- Egg shaped Styrofoam
- Quart size glass jar
- Jelly size glass jar
- Wire or large paper clips
- Food coloring
Fill your jar 2/3 full of hot water.
Mix in 1/3 cup of powdered borax, stir until dissolved and add desired food coloring.
Put a piece of wire through the Styrofoam egg from top to bottom. Bend the wire to create a hook at the top and bottom.
Place the egg into the water, and use the smaller, jelly sized jar filled with marbles or rocks to stop the Styrofoam from floating to the service.
Submerge for at least 24 hours. If crystals do not form, re-heat the water, add more borax and let them sit again.
Let the eggs dry after removing them from the water before pulling the wire out. Enjoy!
No Bake Easter Mini Egg Cheesecake
- 280g digestive biscuits
- 140g melted butter
- 360g Cadbury Mini Eggs
- 550ml double cream, whipped to form soft peaks
- 140g icing sugar
- 560g full fat cream cheese
- Juice from 1/2 lemon.
Crush the biscuits, mix with melted butter, and press into 7″ tin.
Combine whipped cream, icing sugar, cream cheese, lemon juice and chopped mini eggs and fold gently until fully combined.
Smooth on top of the biscuit base and flatten. Chill for 3-12 hours, the longer the better.
Add more whipped cream and mini eggs to decorate before serving!
- 1/3 – 1/2 cup chilled carrot juice
- 1/2 cup Prosecco
- Carrot stems for garnish
